Three for the show

Some of the simple boxes i have for the show on Monday.

First one is oak with an elm top and poplar hinges

Second is oak with an oak top and poplar hinges

Third is Juniper (from LJ juniper canyon) with a poplar top and hinges

All of them have 2 coats of Danish oil and 6 coats of water based poly

All are 12” x 8” x 5”

Monte, They look real cool I really like the live edges. Good Luck at the show and let us now how it is going. I just completed the first of 4 shows for this year.

Your box making skills have taken a quantum leap forward. They are all nice but I’m partial to the elm. Nice finish as well. Is that brushed on Polycrylic over Danish oil? Best of luck at the show!

Yes it’s brushed on. I am using Danish oil on most everything now.
