Palm Crosses... These crosses are carved from the same Black Oak lumber mentioned in the previous post for the Black Oak Box. They are hand carved and have no finish. The oils from the hands of person holding the cross, become the finish and give the wood a rich patina. They are approx. 4.5 inches high and shaped to fit the hand.

These are a very nice gift to make
I’ve seen them in hospice & hospital
they give great comfort.

John, nice project. I hope it brings comfort to others and gives you joy in making them. Anything that gives solace to troubled souls is to be praised. The notes are a nice addition.
Have you considered posting a full sized pattern, construction tips, and the script you use as part of your next post of these? It might be a good movement to promote among fellow Lumber Jocks.
