Oak-Knot Bowl

This is an old oak knot that a friend gave me. When I got it, it was “even” across the top. Did a lot of Dremel and sanding work on it and then polished it with my own special oil/wax blend. It will be someone’s Christmas present. Thanks for the looks and comments.

lew—————-well…it’s actually the wood but there were cracks/fissures in it and I filled them with a glue/wood dust paste. Luckily it all came out the same color when it as sanded down and the finish was applied. It looks really nice in real time.

Love it will never look at a oak knot as fire wood again now that you showed this ,,.Thank you just one more thing I got to try some day lol
