One of my first projects, i wanted to make this for my son. This was my trial run using scrap wood and i was very sloppy with some of the cuts. I am planning on making another with better wood/technique.

I got the plan off of popular woodworking website.

One of my first projects was a squirrel trap. The squirrel wasn’t none too happy about it and he almost bit me. I think that he was a little insulted at having been cooped up in that undignified looking trap.

However, that set of steps is not bad at all. If you are just starting out you have so much enjoyment to look forward to. Welcome to Lumberjocks.

Good job, Jason…you’re off on a great adventure. I’ve done a few of Popular Woodworking’s “I Can Do That” projects; they’re great projects and ideal for honing your skills.

Enjoy the weekend,
