I saw one of these one day and thought… I could make one of those. And so begun my first woodshop project. (Not including what I have done back when I was in high shcool shop class.) Fill the jar with candy or gumballs, the candy falls into a hole in the slider and when you pull the slider out, the candy falls from the bottom.

Welcome to LJ’s, land of wood addiction
Looks pretty cool. For future, we like lots of pictures and dimensions :-)

Thank you Monte, Ken, and Dennis. And I am quickly learning why everyone says this website is addictive.

I made one very similar in boy scouts MANY MANY MANY years ago. My parents still have it at their house. I can’t believe in all these years, we never broke the glass jar.
Yours are nicer than what I made at 12 by the way. Not even close actually.
