IT TOOK 10 YEARS TO FIGURE OUT. I REGLUED THIS MAGAZINE RACK AFTER IT CAME LOOSE SHORTLY AFTER I MADE IT. AND FORGOT TO PUT THE HANDLE BACK IN .. SO IT JUST SAT AROUND CATHERING DUST
NOW THAT I’M OLDER AND MORE PATIENT. I TOOK THE TIME TO DO IT RIGHT THE 3RD TIME. isn’t that what mike holmes says…......THIS IS A VIDEO I MADE OF THE REPAIR.

Nice job RF. Great solution. I wonder though with the way they worked, couldn’t you have forgot about the glue?
once the tennons sprung into the hole they should have held. Am I missing anthing. No matter I think it’s a great solution.

ya ——you could have made the tolerences closer—- but it would feel like it would fall out i think.
the loosenessnes of it. i was glad to get this to work it took me two times to get it. the first time i used weldbond glue this time i used tightbond11. to get more tention on the springs i had to put little dowl spacers bhind them. i think if i ever done it again i would use a glue gun and glue the springs in so they wouldn’t fall out of course my fingers don’t work like they use to IF MY BODY WOULD KEEP UP TO MY MIND I WOULD BE A WIZZBANG..

Understand. I love your last line and understand that quite well also. I sometimes think my body has kept up with my mind only to realize it hasn’t. Once again thanks for the post.
