My wife bought these two posters to hang in our house ( I love the classics). She called me and asked if I wanted her to spend $50 dollars a piece on frame or did I want to make them. “WELL DUH!” Don’t tell her I said that please!

She finished them with a two tone dry brush scheme.

Todd:

Nice Frames AND Classic! The Rear looks like a 59 Caddy Eldorado but I’m not so sure about the Front?

Am I close???? ....LOL…

Good job on frames. Surprised she even asked.

Not surprised she asked, that’s a very polite way to ask “will you have the time to make the frames and do you want to, or shall I buy them readymade at an insane price?” ;)

And you post these just when I ordered two very old posters (circa 1800) myself :D

My wife hates that saying “I can make it cheaper”.

Nice pieces.

Nice frames!! If my wife does buys wood items I usually wind up repairing them or reinforcing them because of the cheap methods they use on production items. She knows better now and show me what she want me to make!!

Nice job. Also your wife did a great job on the paint, it matches the poster theme well.

Thank you, guys!As for the front picture, I have been trying to find a bumper like that but no luck. There are so many head lights that look the same that year. If we could just see a little more of the hood.
