This is a scroll picture frame with cardinals and holly leaves. I used some imperfect maple cabinet rails and covered them with slats from a bass wood blind.
Woods used: Soft wood for carving birds – Mahogany; Aspen – leaves; rounded dowels for berries; Bass wood and maple frame; old sash glass; hard board backer.
