Built from found cedar roots, the main seat root Ive been saving for a few years, when I first found it, it was up a river a half mile or so, I waited and kept an eye on it for for about a year and a half untell it washed down far enough to get it. It looks like it grew out of a hill side at one time. It was pretty tricky to find a arch shape that would mimic the seat for the back rest over all im happy with the balance of this piece. Finished with poly, its about 80 inches long and 48 inches wide, seat is 16 1/2 inches high.

Thanks for lookin Lj’s

Awesome piece. I am always excited to see your projects, I’ve noticed I see a lot of possibilities all around me every time I go out hunting for wood from the inspiration I get from your work. Thanks for posting.

wow, this is a beauty, you were right to wait for this one, patience is it…you put together the right pieces and came up with a fantastic bench, lost of sanding on this, i can tell its super smooth…im working on a natural piece myself, its going to be nakashima stye…walnut…ive waited a long time for the right pieces for this one, maybe you will like it, i hope you comment on it when i get it done…i just love your work and style, its the exact same style that i love the most, yep…you did it again…...maybe one day i can come that way, pitch my tent on the beach or river bank and work with you for a few days or a few weeks, that would be a dream…keep at it…grizz
