My wife’s birthday was last week.
I did a little cabinet upcycling for a friend who is a potter.
I traded that labour for some pottery for my wife birthday present.
But I decided I had to make something myself.
So these were my last minute birthday spoons to add to her present.
The top one is made from yellow birch (scrap left over from a canoe paddle I carved earlier this year). It is about 15” long.
The bottom tasting spoon is made from some walnut scraps I dug out of the scrap box.
It’s about 9” long.
She makes soups daily at the cafe, so these should see lots of use there.
Thanks for looking,
Mike

Cool job
-- Mother Nature created it, I just assemble it. - It's not ability that we often lack, but the patience to use our ability
