Pear is very hard and fine grained and turns very nicely green. This bowl is 7” diameter and 2.25” tall and is a nice candy dish size. Finished with Watco Danish oil and buffed with tripoli and carnuba wax.

Very beautiful Bob. I love the idea of using woods that most people would never think of using. I know that european pear has been used for centuries in fine furniture , so why not ornamental bradford pear. nice job
