This is a bar that I made for a small breakfast nook. The challenge here was that the widest board that I had that was long enough for the space had a bit of twist to it. I had to use the brackets to try to counter the warp by anchoring them into the wall studs and lag-screwing the bar top down to the brackets.
The brackets were scrollsawn and routed. The bar is made of red maple with pure tung oil finish followed by one coat of polyurethane.
