Since i started maing these harp mic`s, orders for them have been coming in steady. They let me combine my luv of doing bone work with a great sounding hand held microphone. I use military grade cb radio mic elements and switchcraft input jacks. Now i have in the works my idea of a vocal microphone, bone and wood housing with a cartridge type of dynamic mic element. The one with the train on was for a buddy who works on the Canadian Railway…i carved an engine, coal car, box car and a caboose. Which wrap around the bone mic housing.

Very nice work. I know this will be hard to answer, but how much carving time do you have in one of these. They ae beautifully done.

It usually takes me a few hours but the train one i did took about 30 hours to do. That one is very detailed, to the point where you can see through the cab of the engine. I luv doing details or what i call..” eye candy ”...lol.

This is amazing. I am so very interested in what your are doing here. Not only are they awesome looking – the are the most incredible mics I have ever seen. I want to see your vocal mics when you’re done. I added you to my buddies so I can keep track of your work.
-- Thanks for all the lessons!
