Thanks to Jim Jakosh for giving me this drill bit. He also milled the depth stop for it. I turned the handle out of a piece of walnut I had laying around. This is my first tool handle that i turned for myself. I used the bit and stop to drill the hole for the bit. Used 5 minute epoxy to secure it. I plan on using this to help in boring a starter hole for my cups and bowls.

Rustic: Jim has also made me several tools that I have made handles for. He is a good guy, if only I had 10% of his talent. I feel so inferior when turning something and viewing my finished product to his.

He has attempted to teach me a lot but I am a slow learner.

Hey Rick, Nice handle you made there! Don’t forget to wear a glove if you drill deep. I learned the hard way with a pretty good burn. Glad you like the stop on there. It is a tool you’ll use a lot!!..................Jim
