These are the last 50 of the 500 pens that I turned as part of the 2012 Turn for the Troops project. The Nashville Woodcraft Store provided the pen kits and I provided the wood and turned the pens. Pens are turned from bone, corian, soapstone, hardwoods, and various exotics. I keep all my cutoffs from other projects to make pen blanks. Woodcraft will send these pens to our troops who are serving overseas.

You are an incredible man. Thank you so much for making such a grand gesture of appreciation. I admire and respect people like you right along side of all the brave young men and women you have honored so well.

-- Thanks for all the lessons!

Very nice cotribution to your gays across the sea. If only there were more war making with pens rather than with firearms.

I can’t think of a more noble project or a more deserving group of recepients! I need to get involved with it as well.

JJones98042—If you don’t have a local group doing a pen project, contact Eddie Castelin ( ... he’ll hook you up with Sarge Kelly!
