On the first ones I used pressure treated fence wood. 1X4….legs and trim, 1X6 all sides and top. Frame is 2X4’s ripped to 2X2;s. I have poplar picked out for next ones, also have some clear cedar planking that will be a little fancier. You decorate with anything, surfboards, sandals, horse-shoes, etc. The pressure treated wood can just sit outside and weather naturally.
