Project Information
I hate making picture frames. It has to be one of the most boring projects my wife asks me to do. I think it has something to do with my phobia toward miters.
So I went the mortise & tenon route, which is less error-prone for me, and I think it looks better anyway (since I'm not good at miters, and refuse to practice!).
The quilt was a wedding gift from a neighbor. The painting is something I painted for her in college. I don't care for it anymore, but she refuses to take it down. Barley is our yellow lab (aka perpetually rambunctious child). And the United States Virgin Islands is a place that no one should ever go to… ever. Because it's mine! All mine!
Oh, coincidentally, this is the only downside to having a "soft" wood bench top. I now have some pyramidal indentations in my roubo bench from hammering these pegs in. Lay some scrap down!
