White cedar adirondack chair, I love working with white cedar! All stainless hardware nice wide arms to hold a drink and a plate of food a drink or a book
Ok I added the pictures of chairs and tables together, and one with the planters sorry for the smudge in the pictures I must have been running my smoker while taking picutres lol
Being a woodowrker means never having to go far for wood chips for my smoker

It looks great! I assume it’s sturdy…what kind of joinery did you use? Did you use plans or just the plans in your head? How did you cut out the arms…template…router…jigsaw…bandsaw?

Very nice and traditional ADK style. Did you do from plans? if so which ones? I am interested too know I would like to build 4 of these as presents but have not seen plans that I like yet.

I cut the arms and legs using a Rikon 14” bandsaw, bought the plans a few years ago and made templates off the parts ao I can make more with ease. Used a router to ease all egdes and cleaned up the curvy cuts with a Ridgid spindle/belt sander.
George the plans come from Barley Harvest out of Canada it is called a Muskoka chair, I have teh full set of plans, Adirondack, foot rest, table and love seat and Tete te tete.
Have built them all and people enjoy sitting in them.

This has turned into a little side business in the summer chairs, picnic tables, planters etc. Started bulding for myself and people just started to stop and ask if I sell them.
