This bowl was made out of scrapwoods from my other woodworkers at my school. I made this with Padauk, Cherry, Walnut, and Mahogany. The bowl has a middle segement layer of walnut and mahogany that became a slanted segment due to a such a thinness that became difficult to get square. I decided to use it still and it gave an interesting effect to the bowl.

This is a gorgeous bowl. I have really come to appreciate turnings like this. Nice re-use of scrap materials as well.

so who did you get the scraps from? Thats the way to use the wood that others think is junk,good job , you have come a long way in a short time. nice work my friend.
