DiGi, A new Lumberjocks member, was nice enough to send me photos of the case that I did for his Navy retirment a few years back. Funny how I always forget to take pictures of my projects – must be the onset of senior moments.
Anywho, the case carcass is American Cherry and the face frame is Black Walnut. There are command coins and brass plaques set in the frame. The signal flags (like the Jatoba case I recently did) spell out: Answering – Charlie – Papa; which represents the phrase “Steaming to Assist,” the Navy Medicine Motto.

This is a beautiful display cabinet. The walnut and cherry are a nice combination of woods.
Thanks for the post.
