I used Steve Good’s pattern (Scrollworks) to make this Christmas box from mahogany and yellow cedar on my scroll saw.

Very nice project—really enjoy your work. Keep it coming, but how about something for Halloween and Thanksgiving (here in the U.S.A. Anyway)?

Santa will be here before we know it.. Very nice scrolling. I like the wood combos. It really brings your fine scrollwork out.

Thanks all for your kind comments. One of these years I’ll get around to Halloween projects, John. Our Thanksgiving has already passed!

Very nice piece. I don’t seem to have the patience for scrollwork & I admire all of you who do.

What a cool project, Anna! I love this box! Your work is beautiful. I find it sometimes hard to do boxes like this and keep the straight lines looking nice, but you did a great job. The contrasting liner is really cool – it makes the whole box look crisp and clean. Just beautiful! :)

Fun and very festive! I also like the contrast between your wood choices.
