I have needed to build an outfeed table for over a year. I also am tired of using my table saw as a workbench. I replaced my stairs last year with a new set of oak stairs. I saved as much of the lumber as I could from the old stairs. I decided to make an outfeed table using as much of that lumber as I could. THe lower stretcher is set low because I am planning to make some storage cabinets to go in there.
You can read my blog about building it here.

Good save, great table

Very nice. Now I need to get started on one.
The tread mill against the wall is a nice touch!

HAHA! Well mloy365 it is a shared basement so that was the best spot for the treadmill. That studded wall there in the pictures next to the pile of scraps is currently being sheet rocked. I hope to have that done by the end of next week so I can get back to doing some actual woodworking.
Have your say...
