Project Information

You build them a big fancy box, of course. A friend and his wife needed something to house their foot wear and I was more than happy to oblige them. Cherry frame with walnut veneered panels make up the body and the cedar lining create a bit of a cleat in front and back to rest a small tray that I did up out of the scrap.

Beautiful box. My answer would have been to throw the cats outside. No LOL.

Nice boot box! I want to see the boots that are worth building a box around. Nice job.

Great looking chest. An easier solution though would be to just get rid of the cat….

I would have given the cat the boot and kept the box for something else. Great project!

Do you put the cat in the box or the boots?

You simply put the cat in the boot head first. put your fore fingers through the pulls and your thumbs over the back legs of the cat. In this position the cat won't be able to hurt you. He is now in the perfect position to have the family jewels removed and that usually changes the attitude. If it is a she then you need to get rid of that cat and tell the wife it must have left home. BTW that is a fine looking chest you built. very nice

That's an awfully nice box just to bury a wretched cat with an attitude. Your neighbor could just have dug a hole and then he wouldn't have to worry about his cat ruining the nice box, too! ;-)
