Simple clipboards using butt joints and glue. Mahogany walnut, maple and oak. Glued, planed, cut sanded and routed. Finished with linseed oil. The clips were removed from clipboards from staples (about a dollar each).

I’ve got about two or three buckets full of strips like you started with. I think that a pretty cool use for them.Thanks for sharing.

I have made several of these over the years, they are great uses for strips that are not suited for cutting boards – or if every one on the planet that you know already has more cutting boards than they will ever use…
