Another set that I carved this summer. The wood is old barnboard leftovers from other projects. I started carving with some scrap teak salvaged off an old 1970’s Thundercraft boat a buddy was scraping as well. I did over 30 different carvings this summer and will post the projects as I get pictures together.

I have a number of furniture projects and antiques resorations using the old barn wood that I will post.
I guess I will have to start keeping a camera handy so I can document my stuff.

I just discovered this site by accident one day and the information and ideas has been outstanding. Thanks to everyone here at lumberjocks.

Wow, very nice. My favorite is the first image. Very nice flow within the piece.

Very nicely stylized pieces. My fave is pic 5, the grain orientation is superb as is the arch and flow. A pleasure to have you here.

I think all of these are awesome. Do you plan to sell them at all? I am having absolutely no problem picturing these pieces sitting on tables in those great big Virginia Beach Summer homes…just artsy enough to be classy but not so artsy that they don’t resemble birds and aren’t accessible to non-artists.

Beautiful pieces. Love the all, but the first is my favorite.
I’ll repeat myself- I am in awe of the beautiful things LJs routinely do.
Thanks for posting.

I plan on selling them all off at some point. I’‘ve run out of room in my house. (sister says she will be putting them all on kijiji when I head back to work next week)
I’ll be away from my shop for the winter so I hope the withdrawels aren’t too bad.
Thanks for the comments everyone.
