I made this clock out of Cherry for my dad. He was always interested in clocks with mechanical movements, and had even put a grandfather clock together out of a kit. i got really lucky with the back panel, as I found a board with some figure and book-matched it. He was very surprised when i gave it to him, and it was put in a prominent place on the living room wall. The wood has since aged beautifully. I am glad he got to enjoy it as long as he did.

Real nice. That’s not an easy first build.
