Does this look heavy ? Well it is so heavy it took four of us to bring it into the house. It’s Made solid red oak and red oak veneer plywood. Yes that top is solid oak (cutting board style) 60” x 25” x 1.5” . This again is when I was in my oak phase.

This was made to fit a 27” T.V. and like needed equipment, and has three draws for tapes and DVDs. It has about 5 coats of brushed on laquer (so far so good).

-- ??? My mistakes heat the house. It's very warm in here. ???

Nice job on the cabinet. I hope you have it where you want it so you don’t have to move it often.

That is a nice entertainment center. You did a good job with its execution and construction.

Thanks for the post.

That is really puuurty!

And the top is sturdy enough to supporst a big screen so you can watch the game while Mrs. Unknownwoodworker watches her shows on the smaller set. :-)
