Since my retirement in May as an elementary school principal, I have been so busy with woodworking projects. I made a set of adirondack chairs for a fellow educator as a retirement gift and upon delivery, was greeted with several more orders. Since then I have advertised on Facebook (a good opportunity as there are lots of new groups in many cities where folks advertise items for sale) and taken many orders that way too. I haven’t stopped buying cypress (60 cents per bd/ft), cutting, planning, building, staining and delivering since. Certainly not enough to live on, but nice extra money. Finally settled on $375 for this set of 2 chairs, a table and two footrests. Not seeing much objection to this pricing. Busy, busy!!
