What else can be said about Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters other than UTTERLY AWESOME. One of the greatest concerts I have ever seen was the Foo Fighters playing at Wembley Stadium – it was breathtaking from start to end.

Dave Grohl made Nirvana, Scream, Queens of the Stone Age and the Foo Fighters famous as well as being a great actor and all around really nice dude.

I saw this image of the band online about six months ago and over the next four months created this pattern in my spare time – five minutes here and ten minutes there.

The past Sunday I realized that it was ready for cutting, so I chose a really nice piece of BB Plywood and got to work.

Overall, the piece measures 10×17 inches.

Finish consists of a decent coating of lemon oil and a backing of thick, black felt.

I didn’t make this one with a buyer in mind, nor do I have anyone special in mind to give it to but I’m sure someone will speak up when word gets around that it’s finished. :-)

Oct 15, 2012: Quick update – Within a day this one sold. AND I have orders for two more. :-)

Enjoy!

Never heard of him. But a great representation nonetheless.

Your original and expertly executed music based scrollwork delights and entertains, Bob. Another fine example of your craft.

Just saw them for the 3rd time and, as usual, they rocked!

Good job.
