Probably completed in 1989. This oak recipe box is a Woodsmith project. The mitered dovetails are a nice touch as is the flip-up lid which holds a cookbook. My daughter has this now.

Oh yeah the dovetails are neat, and the flip-top is a very good idea, I never saw that before in a recipe box. Bucket-listed! ;)

It’s located in Woodsmith issue 44. Be sure to check the final dimensions of your recipe cards to determine if you need to up-size it a bit.
