Probably completed in 1978. This is another of my early woodworking projects made in the old milk-house. The bread box is made of birch with a scrap of 1/4” oak plywood mounted in the door. Hey, I used what was on hand!

Scrap turned to a beautiful craft! Much talent you’ve got, man!

It’s been fun documenting my long woodworking journey more completely these past couple of days. It should be encouraging to those starting out to see that you can start simple. If you never progress, it’s all good. If you do progress, that’s good too. Either way you’re making noise and saw dust! I was probably a sophomore in high school when I made this project.
