I was building these as tree swings and was told that they would make a great teeter totter. So here is Red Barron Vs Snoopy Teeter Totter with a built in Teeter stop so kids can play on it without the teeter motion. I had to design the stand twice to get it right. I will make a full teeter brake when I get out the plane tonight. The block fits between the top 1/2 in pipe and the board to stop the action. Let the air battle begin.

So cool. It would be even more dog fight like if you could make it rotate/spin also.

Looks great! I’m sure many hours of fun will be had on it.
The teeter stop is a good idea but I’m very concerned about the Totter STOP, lol.

That was my suggestion! I’m so happy you built one—It is sooo cool. Adding the stop was a great idea. I bet you have the funnest and busiest yard in the whole area. Seeing this started my day off with a big smile, thanks and well done!!

Enough realism to be cool, enough left to the imagination to be fun…. well done.

Great job, Tim. The kids love it, I’m sure; made me wish I were a kid again!
