Just showing some of the shop made tools I made.
Used wood is mahogany and cherry. Inlaid with a brass strip.

Thanks for watching and comments are welcome.

Nice tool, what is the purpose of the brass strip? I could understand it on an edge as a wear surface, but in the center of a face puzzles me.

Nice tool to look at, and a nice tool to use. Just added it to my ‘to do’ list. Thanks

I’m going to try and make one of these. I’m with Wdwerker, what is the purpose of the brass strip? It doesn’t look like it wears on anything. Looks nice though, and good job of letting it in.

Thans for all the comments.
The purpose of the brass strip is just decoration .
I thought it would look nicer .
