My wife and I are aware that this is technically the final product of our tombstone project, but we listed it as a separate project since we made it a point to make a graveyard in our front yard. You will have to excuse the imperfections in the tombstones, this was the first time we ever used a router before. (With a plunge base of course) We took to empty wood (I might add they are all made of wood) and free-handed the names with a permanent marker, and then we routed them out free-handed. We painted all the names with black enamel paint and attempted to make them look like concrete. Of course what graveyard would not be complete with three big hitters like Michael Myers, Freddie Krueger, and Jason Voorhees (Friday 13th if you were not sure:) We know the skeletons are not made of wood, but we thought it was a clever idea (thanks Pinterest) to have one skeleton on the roof helping the hanging one up before he falls. Hope you enjoy our Halloween decorations, we sure did have a blast making it. This is what two big kids do for fun in their spare time. We forgot to mention the black cat was a challenge to make out of quarter inch plywood using a jigsaw.
Thanks for checking out our graveyard
