First Bat house Made out of pallet all board are cut to over lap and so are the sides.
Looked at some all were made out of plywood One thing I don’t have so I had to try my pallets lol if you look at my work it is just about all pallets.
Up north here it needs to be black and facing to the east to get the sun to worm them up in the winter months or when it’s cold out.

I doubt the bats care what it is made of. Should put some up around here.

Looks well made as usual sir.

Joe those are real handy

Bats are so important and often

ignored. Have you used a bat tracker

before. It is amazing all of the sounds.

Are you going to be painting this one black? I had not thought how extra warmth would attract bats, but it makes a lot of sense. I am thinking of putting up a couple of bat houses as I know they really control the bugs.
