My company was in need of a treasure chest for an upcoming skit at a conference, so I threw this together over two weekend days. It’s made of walnut harvested in North Carolina that I purchased several years back from a couple NCWW friends. It is finished with amber shellac; sprayed on. The box joints were made with the new Incra iBox jig (awesome! this was the first time I’ve used it).

I love it. My kids have been wanting me to build them something like this forever.

It is a treasure! Don’t let it get away after the skit.

I am wanting to build something similar to this. I love that arched top.
