My boys love their hot wheels and my wife and I were getting sick of them always being on the wall and window. Well with the move to California and unfortuanlty a smaller garage, I need to downsize, so instead of just getting ride of the bench I turned it into a play table. I hand panted my own design and then clear coated it. After I ordered some lego plates and then cut them to size and screwed them in. They love it and my wife and I love it because there are no more hot wheels on the wall, well most of the time.

Looks cool Ben. And in the 50s I had my Lionel train table with all the tricks. Your kids are going to remember this for a lifetime. You ‘dun good. ;-)

Ben, way to take something old and make it new. I’m not surprised that your kids love it. Great work and welcome to the forums!

I love recycled projects, nicely done, I am sure they do not notice a little wave in the street
