Entry bench made of Lowes bought 2x’s. 1/2” ply panels coated with 5/16” pine beadboard. Mortise and tennon rails, and sides. Panels fit in a 13/16”s dado. Top or “hutch” has 3 dowels on each side to allow EZ transport.
Not extreamly fancy being it made of pine. This bench will be sandwiched between wall cabinets. That is why top cornice is not wrapped around the sides. Sides had to be flush top to bottom.
57” wide, 64” tall.

Made for a customer with 3 small kids. Gives them a place to store shoes, coats, school bags, etc..

12hrs of labor of LUV

Thanks for looking.

Wow. And I would even be happy to have an entry way big enough to house something this nice! Well done!

Great project and nicley executed. We had one of these in the house I grew up in, the comodes held winter boots, newspapers and sports equipment, it got alot of use from the three boys.

I like something like this. A fine piece of furniture while serving as a storage space. You did great!
