Project Information

Simple bread box. Both side panels have been routed 3/4 by 3/8 deep all the way around and all the other pieces fit in to the sides. Plans came from totally-free-woodworking-plans.com and were easy to follow and included a parts list, grain direction plus both in. and mm measurements. Finish is a simple 3 coats of satin poly. Rough outside measurements are 16×11x11. Material was white pine.
Ordered a dust deputy - just the cyclone part. I'll build the rest. My neighbor gave me 2, 5-gal buckets w/top that were originally for pool chemicals. Glad he has a pool. Have to keep the dust out of the house. My bride of 52 yrs has problems breathing. The shop-vac filter loads up way to fast. I have two filters and alternate their use. That way I do not have to wait for one of them to dry after I clean it.

Nice looking project. Dust collection is always a big issue.

Boy Don, this takes me back to the early 70's when I first got started at woodworking. I made so many designs of the bread box…thanks for sharing.

Hawaiilad: Yup, I know all about it. I resisted making this, but it was requested.
