My wife loves to ride her bicycle and watch the Tour De France so I wanted to come up with something that looked like a bike and might have some function. So I had a ton of scrap cedar and pine laying around after building the Morris Chairs and I started screwing around with a circle cutter and my bandsaw and after a few hours it started to take shape.
It was fun, don’t know if I could build an exact duplicate, but the real problem is….
What the heck do I use it for? It is not strong enough for a kid to play on it.. and it is otherwise just a wooden bicycle. I have not finished or painted it yet because I don’t know what the heck to do with it.. The platform is also temporary for the same reason.
Any thoughts?

Plant stand, kids’ book shelf, knick-knack shelf. I am sure there will be other suggestions.
One good thing – the tires can’t go flat. LOL

Paint it in a stone colour then paint with
yogurt and put it in the garden, it will soon
look great. I would also add Ivy.

Nick, mount a mail box on the fender and set it out at the curb. That will certainly turn some heads :).

I’m thinking a bike shop would love this on display. Especially if you painted it with the store name.

Nick, the cat would probably like it place in front of a nice window so it would have a nice perch to watch the
world go by. About the best idea I can come up with is to ask the wife what to do with it, their ideas seem
to be much more important for some reason. Thank you for sharing.
