Made this desk clock for my son who is a keen fan of Pink Floyd; like father like son. Both of us are also keen fans of The Australian Pink Floyd; the worlds best tribute band, we both met the band last year along with Lorelie & Durga McBroom. The clock is made from 12mm ply with the marquetry applied to the front, American Black Walnut background, the whit and coloured veneers are all Sycamore, The pyramid (prism) is Linewood with a black dyed Sycamore base. The back of the clock has a compensating veneer which is Makore. The veneers were all applied to the substrate using PVA adhesive. The clock is finished with 2 coats cellulose sander sealer and 2 spray coats of acrylic lacquer, the word TIME is applied rub down letters before the spray coats are applied.
