I originally wasn’t going to post this one because it is a bit of a failure all the way around. But, for being my first and only end grain cutting board I will ever make I’ll let it rest in infamy in the digital domain.

Constructed from cherry baseboard cut offs.

-- When questioned about using glue on a garbage bin I responded, "Wood working is about good technique and lots of glue........I have the glue part down."

Nice use of cut offs. What makes you say it is a failure? Looks like it is functional to me.

Hey, I thik it’s cool. And it’s great to have a good use for cut offs, riight? The pattern is interesting…what more could you ask for?

All it needs is a lot of sanding . End grain is hard to sand out. Patients is necessary

The feeling of failure here is more centered around the technique than the finished product. At least I learned that end grain cutting boards are not for me.
