She is still a work in progress. Need some better wheels and support for the drop leafs. Trim around the drawers and sides. I’m not satisfied with the top drawer, I’ll fix it later. The good thing about this workbench it’s zero cost due to all materials were given to me.
What should I put on the bench top to preserve it?
thanks
John

I like the kick under wheels. I’ve been thinking about trying that out on the next tools bench I make. How do you like them?
For the preserving part. Just like the bench, I’d use whatever was handy (free). Alternatively, I’d use something I’ve been wanting to try or need more practice with. Better to practice on some shop furniture and learn on that, then on a show piece.

@Puffin…. I like the wheels but I might change them to be fixed to the bench and just add 2 locking casters. The only problem is when I kick the casters in or out I need to becareful if I have stuff on the bench.
thanks for the reply
