Since I completed my first doll house project some 6 years ago for my first of 4 grandaughters, I have continued to make doll furniture and showcases for dolls. The cottage is made of pine and sits on a swivel base. The roof and trim are made from various pieces of unstained wood including poplar, walnut and even some leftover venetian blinds (I hate to waste wood). This is my own design and so are the pieces inside the house.

Man – I love it when someone breaks with tradition. Unique to say the least. Fantastic House!

A really wonderful piece. I know your grandaughters love them & I bet their daughters will love them too. I have 4 grandsons. I love them all, but a grandaughter would have been cool.
