When you have a small shop, 1/2 the garage, it helps to be creative.
I have had this miter saw for years, but every time I needed to use it, it had to sit on the ground and I had to find a way to support the stock to hold it in position.
I decided to get a roll around tool box and mount the saw on it.
I added a piece of 3/4 MDF to add some strength then drilled 3/8” holes and bolted the saw to the top.
The wings fold down so the whole thing doesn’t take up as much space when not in use.
A bonus is that I now have four more drawers to store/hide junk.
I liked the result so I took the top box off my old roll around and mounted my little band saw on it.

Whatdaya mean ‘Junk’? Us craftsman (people) only have a lot of “STUFF”! (-; Good job on saving space.

Nice use of the toolbox as a mobile cart. I’m working on my own miter saw station because like you, using the floor and whatever wood scrap I could find for outfeed support gets old.

Great Idea! I just found a beaten old cart at the dump, drawers are missing/broken I was going to use it as a planer cart but I think I’ll go this route.

Love the idea. storage for hand tools and miter stand in one.
