Nice looking. I would guess granddaughter was thrilled. Did you buy the clock mechanics?

Yes, I got the clock and cuckoo mechanism from Klockit. Actually, my wife did a lot of the painting so I should give credit where credit is due.

One of the nicest feelings in the world. To have a grandpa who practically makes wishes come true. Sweet gift!

Great looking clock and a wonderful present. With the 3 weights, one for the clock, one for the bird, is the
third one for the little blond lady? Thank you for sharing.

The third weight adds just enough to keep the cuckoo from flying away with the clock, Gus. :-)
By the way, I have clock orders from the other Granddaughters, and am in production mode now.

That is great thing about grand daughters and great grandaughters. The have those big eyes and wonderful
personalities that make it impossible to say no when they look up at you and ask, “Can I have _?” fill
in the appropriate item, and yes daughters and sons have been known to use them to get the impossible done.
Thank you for sharing.
