Image 1: I continue with the reduction of wood that is in unused areas of the bear and continually refine the reduction process. You can see the form really taking shape now and it’s easier to understand what I’m working on.

Image 2: I wanted to give a frame of reference as to how big the bear is in relation to me and the chainsaw. Sorry about my appearance.

Image 3: Because I wanted to add a detachable drum and beater in the bears hands I did not progress to much further with the chainsaw.

I have always wanted to try chain saw carving. I have a few logs I saved from the fire wood pile and walked down stairs last week to start but as always with most of my projects got side tracked :)
