Beadboard Wainscoting used for a bar and kitchen island...

This island is the back of a stove and base cabinets.
The bar uses a salvaged piano soundboard, made of wormy chestnut, as a top.
I understand the piano was used by Gershwin, a famous pianist, 80 some odd years ago.

Wow, very interesting. Gershwin is well known for his Rhapsody in Blue and it is one of my favorite songs. If he ever played it on that piano, you have a treasure, my friend. The beadboard looks great. I plan on doing the same on a coffee bar I’ve got planned.
