Built theses painted poplar and bead board pieces for my granddaughter last month. A matching four drawer dresser is in the works.

I appreciate all of the comments. I am really enjoying all of the fine work that everyone is posting.

As for the painting, I can not take credit for that. I build them; my better-half paints them. She hand brush painted both and did a great job. We have HVLP spray equipment, but she would rather hand brush. All of the panels are 3/8” x 1.5” OC grooved bead board rabbeted into 3 /4” poplar frames – took her a while to paint all of the bead board panels. Almost done with a matching four drawer dresser for her to tackle next and I suspect we’ll not be doing anymore painted pieces for a while – back to quarter sawn white oak, dye, Tung oil, and wax…
