These are nice pieces of furniture. In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with cherry. The secretary looks really solid.

Linen cab looks great….the secretary is nice as well but I think the legs are a bit massive for the piece…. but if that’s what the customer wants , who are we to argue ? Nice workmanship !

IMHO, I like the legs. I always lean on writing surfaces trying to steady my hands enough to make my writing legible. I really dislike wobbly desktops. The secretary looks like it’d be at home in a no-suit sort of business area.
-- Made lots of sawdust and pounded some nails. Haven't finished anything, though.
